LADY GAGA FOR VOGUE US

Lady Gaga looks stunning in the September issue of US Vogue this month. She shows a softer, more feminine and overall less crazy side to herself here, and the images are vulnerable and classy. I love Gaga anyway but I really adore this photoshoot. To read the interview in Vogue click here.

RED HALF MOON MANICURE

I had never done the half-moon nail trend before but I had seen it about. I chose to do it just with red polish and the negative space of the nail for the half-moon. I did it without using tape or stickers, because in my experience stickers or tape can let the varnish leak through making it really messy. Considering that it was done without tape or stickers I am happy with the result and I really want to try and experiment with it more in the future. XOXO

GO HARD OR GO HOME

Hangover alert :| Last night I went out with loads of people because it was my friend Dannii's 18th. We started at a pub, had a substantial amount of wine and the rest is history. I'm not really a wine person but I was ON it last night and it was pretty crazy. It went straight to my head (although thankfully everyone else was on one too) and there was a lot of fun as a result. I'll be honest and say I don't remember very much, but I just remember everyone having a great time. I think wine might be my new 'fun' drink. The title of this post is courtesy of my friend Jonny who had a little joke going at the beginning of the night. That much I know. I wore a grey Topshop tank tucked into some high-waisted shorts. The belt and leather jacket are also Topshop and the bag is from Marc B. I also added a vintage chain and black boots from New Look. Kay bye guys XOX

MY DAILY FAVE

Harper's Bazaar really have their ideas together this month. As well as the fab feature on Gwen Stefani I posted on earlier (click here), they also have this cute little interview. My two favourite things in the world are probably cats and clothes and therefore this whole thing is very exciting for me. This is Choupette, the kitten and new muse of Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld. She is so gorgeous. She is so pretty and adorable. Karl describes her as 'the one'. I think if one of fashion's biggest houses is influenced by a cat then this can only be a good thing. Personally I believe everything is better when cats are involved. If you want to read the interview with Karl check it out here.

PRETTY IN PINK

This is by Terry Richardson for the September issue of Harper's Bazaar US. I quite simply love it all because: I love Gwen Stefani (and I love No Doubt), I love Terry Richardson, and I love pink. This spread is so fun and girly and bold and yes just love it. I particularly love the Alexander McQueen gown directly above. It is like a candyfloss dream. It is stunning and amazing and makes Gwen look tiny. Check out her full interview and more shots here. XOX

BEST IN SHOW

The August issue of Vogue UK had me going crazy over this stunning feature. It involves both adorable dogs with the latest designer looks. I'm sold. There is a particular trend of grown-up pieces here with military tailoring and dark tones to create a range of strong and elegant looks. XOXO
