Inspired by the 1935 film adaptation of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', everything in this collection is romantic, feminine and beautifully ethereal. Each piece from the show is in itself like something from a dream. The show was a fairyland of sweet daywear and detailed and extravagant gowns. Tulle, chiffon, sequins and beads are used to create light and angelic pieces. There were padded-out shoulders and capes made of chiffon and tulle that looked lighter than air. There is such delicate and intricate bead and sequin detailing with every piece, and I completely adore the use of muted pastel colours like pink, lilac, mint and blue. XOXO
