Erdem was a futuristic and feminine mash-up. It was ethereal and extraterrestrial and yet ladylike and demure. The collection was primarily dresses, with high jewel neck-lines, tiny waists, and skirts reaching below the knee or longer, creating a prim and feminine feel which was a great clash with the space-age colours, patterns and materials. Models wore a blend of metallic and pastel blue with striking neon orange and pink embellishment. There was a mix of delicate spring florals and, more surprisingly, plenty of gorgeous snakeskin, which is predicted to be huge next season. Mesh and lace panelling was used to break up potentially old-fashioned looks and make the collection youthful and fresh. XOXO
