SAINT LAURENT S/S 2013

Saint Laurent has a new name and head designer and but it hasn't gone far from it's roots. This new era of designer was full of 70's rockstar style, with a mix of classic masculine tailoring and cool hippy maxi looks. Every model had long glossy locks and a big fedora hat, creating a hot 70's boho vibe. There were leather trousers and biker jackets,  and tailored suits with oversized chiffon bows at the neck. There were chiffon blouses and lace detailing, and tapered cigarette trousers. Big bellowing chiffon capes were draped over long sweeping dresses. Maxi's were tied with black leather Obie belts, and were ruffled and sheer, with pussybow detailing and ruffled cuffs. As the collection reached it's end, it was full-on 70's glamour, with capes, sequins, long leather gloves and a Cruella De Vil-type fur coat draped over a models shoulders. The collection finished with a simple chiffon maxi gowns in an array of colours like bright red and pastel blue, with a long black chiffon cape, tassells and minimal jewellery. This whole collection was a dream for me. It is so hot that even Lady Gaga has been stepping out in it recently. To me, it has Kate Moss written all over it. I know I'll be sporting similar looks in the months to come because this whole collection is amazing and I want everything from it. XOXO
